Let me start this article by telling you that if you’re doing business on the Internet, you need an email marketing system in place. That said, I will attempt in the next few paragraphs to explain why I such a system is not only a good idea but also a necessary one.

The entries in your opt in mailing list are as good as money in the bank. This is a list of people who have chosen to hear what you have to say and by submitting their email address they have given you permission to send them periodic emails. These are not only web site visitors but also potential customers and you would do well to see them as such.
With that in mind it should be clearly obvious why an online business owner needs an email marketing system in place and active on their web site. So start building a list now!
